Trama
La famiglia irlandese dei Mundy è formata da cinque sorelle nubili e un fratello, Jack, prete cattolico. Del gruppo familiare fa parte anche Michael, figlio di Christina, la più giovane delle sorelle. A sconvolgere la loro vita arriva il padre di Michael, commesso viaggiatore gallese che sta per andare in Spagna a combattere per Franco.
