Trama
Fresco reduce dalla gattabuia, lo scanzonato Victor Vautier è animato da un'energia incontrollabile: sempre in costante movimento, muta di nome e di apparenze ed è costituzionalmente incapace di dire la verità. Per giunta la sua idea fissa è fare abbastanza soldi per costruire un muro di protezione intorno a Mont-Saint-Michel! L'assistente sociale Marie-Charlotte lo intriga: ma quando Victor scopre che i suoi genitori sono i curatori del museo di Senlus, la tentazione di servirsi di lei per impadronirsi di un preziosissimo trittico di El Greco è irresistibile...
