Trama
Il detective privato Johnson giunge prima della polizia sul luogo dove è stata assassinata una donna e trova una mezza moneta, di cui si impadronisce. Del delitto viene accusato un cliente del detective e lo stesso Johnson viene arrestato. Fuggito, incontra Edwine e con lei, attraverso mille peripezie, giunge alla soluzione del "caso"
